Greetings from PEI!

North of Nain arrived on PEI Tuesday, hit the stores for a short period of time yesterday and has hit the wall. She is tired, so very tired.

Managed to get my photos copied to a disk (ok, three disks) yesterday so my folks now have a copy of them, but I don't have the energy to do a good update yet...have included one teaser photo and will hopefully be full of energy in a couple days.

May not be able to do a get together with any/everyone. My apologies, would love to see you all, but sometimes these things are not in the cards. If you hear of someone walking around town with odd 'tattoos' on their hands, that's me. I had mendi (henna) done in Pondicherry on both sides of my hands and the tops of my feet before I left...and no, it isn't just for weddings, it is for any kind of celebration.

The details on the trip will need to wait for a few more days.

Glad to see you got to PEI safe and sound - hope all your luggage arrived as well! Can't wait to see your India pictures - the beach in the one you posted makes us all wish for those sunny summer days !!

Hope you get caught up in your sleep. I can only imagine how tired you must be after all the travel, as well, of course, the physical labor you did the past few weeks.

Take care ... Lori B.

Wecome home.

I know a bit about how you feel. D. and I spent six months in India in 1993/94 (his second trip, my first) and I came home with India singing a song in my heart and head for 2-3 years that a mere whiff of incense still evokes. Pondicherry was one of the places we visited after landing in Madras (Chinnai) from KL. Have fun adjusting.

Jennifer:

You are forgiven for not catching up with all of the Islanders. If you have had prime time with your family then your Island stop was highly successful. You must be operating on empty by now and you need to re-fuel the tank before going back to work.

We'll await your blog updates and there will always be a next time.
